Soren sighed. It was hard being the last colporteur in the Orishan Galaxy. People didn't want books anymore, not since the holo-audios had been introduced, preferring cheaper and lighter versions to paperbacks. Once, his bookshop had been full of people. But now, it was empty.
But he wasn't going to give up. Even if everyone said he should, that it was hopeless. People loved books. They would come back. They always did. So his shop stayed open, living in hope.
And one day, a man entered, asking if Soren had a proper version of The Lord of the Rings.
