‘But why did you do it? You didn’t have to.’
‘I’ve told you a dozen times. I was hungry! I was famished! I was starving! What else was I supposed to do?’
‘Go hungry! Starve yourself! Go play with your mates! Do anything except destroy our family.’
‘Do you have to make such a big deal about everything?’
‘You ate our kids!’
‘So I munched a few. So what? There were no other fish to eat. So go lay some more eggs.’
