Les Biggerstaff swaggers into Adair’s Saloon. First night outta rehab. He’ll celebrate. Buy everyone a round. Watch the Cowboys on their 62’ flatscreen. Not as big as his theatre screen, but he doesn't have that anymore.

Wife’s taken that. House. Kids. But he’ll overcome. He’s rich and powerful. His daddy hadn’t pulled himself up by his bootstraps for nothing.

Les Biggerstaff still has money. He’s fallen, but not so far. He’s been a lot of things, sherriff, senator, husband, father. Never poor. Rehab teaching him humility. And this time he hopes he’ll give up his addiction to guns for good.
