Beneath megalithic trachytic rock, Lowe and I stooped, meagre lights casting hungry shadows against ageless darkness, sweat dripping with exertion, excitement, delving further inside, where no human had strayed for countless aeons.
Though cyclopean stature, rubble, detritus blocked our passage, but presently we stood erect, uninterrupted designs upon the walls, supplicants of winged ursidae, animals, humans.
Suddenly Lowe stumbled, tripping, I clutched him, we gasped! Bones, strewn, littered the floor, not just bones, bodies, ripped open, raw! Ahead, saw bipedal humans, crouching, feasting, eating their own! Looking to us with white blind eyes! We fled as the inhabitants clamoured forward!

I couldn't help but think of a cheesy 80's horror film I saw part of the other day, but trust me when I say this drabble is much MUCH better than that. Good job!

This is incredible! You adjective salad is masterfully constructed and very powerful. Points for using 'cyclopean', 'megalithic' and my new favourite word;' trachytic'- thank you so much for taggingand sharing this - I am a much happier man for having read it
