Josiah, keen observer, stern judge of character, albeit young with clumsy frame of puberty, caused havoc among the clientèle, especially Gertrude, with her delicate bosom, flowering scent, knocking knees.

Nigel never backed down from a fight, knew Josiah would wane, wither under pressing heat like a jiu jitsu fighter in France. Yet on Josiah came, with great fortitude, weight of substantive torpor, always one step ahead.

Gertrude gasped, her sister blanched, fanning herself with a circular contraption, oblivious to potential outcomes.
