On March 13th, all the ants in the world came together as one, crossing oceans in giant floating masses, traveling at barge-speed, cutting through plastic sludge and marine life alike. They overturned cities and sidewalks to break through the surface and gather. They covered mountains.
At last, they united in a writhing armored clump large as a cumulous cloud, ascended until they eclipsed the sun over the entire United States and most of Canada, and hung there for hours.
Then, without warning, they burst all at once, scattering into particles too small for even the finest scientists to detect.
