On the routine drive to school, the fog
so thick I could not see more than
more than three feet in front of me
The fog
The fog shrouded
Tree limbs and street signs stepped out of oblivion
making the sound of cotton
and I drove on into the white
No idea of what lay ahead,
unable to see what passed behind,
Headlights cuffed, pavement hidden
Just me on a road that
on a road that led to blankness
blankness
I stared into the empty void
and never in my life had I felt
had I felt
So in control

I love this type of Drabble. The type that ultimately trips me up with the unexpected that then totally influences a re-reading. Wonderfully creative.
