The Loud Floors

One stormy night, a little boy called Ethan Lewis rolled off his bed in his sleep. He landed with a surprisingly loud THUMP for such a thin child. So loud, in fact, that the whole town heard it.

When people came rushing to the source, they saw the Lewis' family's house still as ever. The little boy was just staning in the front doorway.

"Did you make that sound?" They asked, all at once.

"Maybe. It might have been our extremely loud floors." Ethan answered.

From that point on people knew that everything was wrong with the old Lewis house.
