I discovered how to turn lead into gold.

It's actually pretty easy. I put the method on the internet. Soon, everyone was turning all the lead they could find into gold, thinking they'd become rich.

But I didn't. I just bought lead.

Thing is, gold's only valuable because it's rare.

Lead's pretty useful, though. Electrodes, solder, radiation shielding... stuff like that matters.

But everyone ignored it, because lead was cheap. Until it was all turned into gold. Then the price rocketed to $3000/ounce, and I'm sat on the world's biggest stockpile.

You can keep gold. I turned lead into money.
