We were off clothes shopping. Not for me of course... I had just offered to help. Today it was my wife, my daughter, and 3yr old granddaughter Lily... with me as chauffeur, finder of parking slot, childminder and general factotum!
On the way there I was making recommendations to the ladies on the best way to approach this shopping trip and how I was there to help. As usual though, I had to raise my voice to be heard, because they weren’t listening to me!
Lily listened though, calling out, “Don’t shout, Baba! We’re only girls!”
Only? If only! Huh!

True... but very funny at the time! And all predictably very difficult to please!

I can imagine. Outings with my mom, sister and niece are of a similar fashion. Not so much having to yell but more like having to use a brick trowel to slide a word in edgeways!
