Yesterday we decided we must add our names to the Book of Condolence for Her Majesty, the late Queen Elizabeth ll. We made our way to our pretty village church, where the late Queen’s own mother had been baptised back in 1900.
I’m a writer; I write..... but what to write? We both had the same problem. Inside the church, we stood by the book, we thought, we thought again and then read the words of others before us. They seemed to have said it all already.
But then, it was done! Unlike Drablr, no chance to edit. No tinkering!

I'm sure it was lovely. I was wondering if you were going to drabble about Her Majesty's death.

Hi Neville and Christopher. I am so glad you are both here. I am working part time now, so, less stress and hopefully, more time for me and drablrs and I shall be eagerly follow you two again (and the rest of our fellow drabblers). I was also wondering if Neville wrote about the Queen... and I hope Mrs H. is well..

The reason I have to really written so much about our late Queen is because the things I write tend to have a smile or a twist in the tail. Right now I wouldn’t wish to trivialise the situation and risk offending others. Mrs H (an arch royalist) and I are greatly saddened by the Queen’s death, inevitable though it was at sometime in the near future. Maybe in due course I may write something.
