There it wasn’t!
As I accelerated out of Whitwell, an oncoming truck flashed his headlights at me. What was his problem?
“Keep your hair on, mate!” I mouthed. He’d pissed me off!
He did me a favour though because I slowed right down for the rightangle bend by Harding’s Farm... and ran out of road... literally! A huge tree blocked the carriageway yards before the second blind bend. Gingerly I squeezed past, fearing someone unknowingly careering towards my little car. Phew... safely done!
Relief!
I bet my hazard warning lights flashing all the way to Codicote pissed off loads of oncoming drivers though!
