Two Minds

These days I feel I’m in two minds about things. Here’s an example. My wife and I were in our local market town on a brief shopping trip, to the market, to the antique hypermarket, to the gift shop, to the garden shop. The pretty market square was buzzing with shoppers and those chilling alfresco, enjoying a coffee at one of the pavement cafés. Our conversation went like this.

“Look at that woman. Who does she think she is? What does she think she looks like? Her skirt is way too short!”

I said “My thoughts entirely.”
I thought ‘Phwoar!’
