In the long run...
E is very fast. At 9 years, that matters! So at Sports Day he was in action. In training sessions earlier he’d won every sprint race. He was the man to get the house points. But runners-up in all the sprints were in his school house too... only the race winners got the important points. But they had to choose... one race each to run! Tricky!
He wasn’t so fast in the long-distance run though, but chose it anyway! A good choice; he won, beating his best mate, but got the house point!
Better in the long run...
