Beating the Hum-drum
Life could be boring, could become boring, could be allowed to become boring.
But I WON’T ALLOW IT! (Well, not as I see it anyway.)
The ‘everyday’ might seem unremarkable as you live it, but when recalled can provide a lesson or a laugh... sometimes both. The driver-up-my-exhaust-pipe prompting me to slow to a crawl, chatting to the postman, people on the bus and even the slug that destroyed my cucumber seedling, can be revisited and maybe seen as a mere building block of this brief life.
Among great little tales in the story of life.

Wow, it’s come up so quickly (as the bishop said to the actress). Usually it takes ages for people to see the new profile pics and I needed it to be there for a couple of weeks time when a drabble series which relates to it goes live.... on a special day for us. Get my hair! And I’d just had it cut!🥴
