Horst #12

by

The Blitzkochen judges sought high levels of creativity from the chefs... brilliance in cooking, novelty in ingredients and contemporary style.

Horst heard this and thought he could tick all three boxes easily. As far as ingredients went, he doubted that any other chef could possibly match his ‘novelty’. But for reasons that might become clear, whilst claiming novelty for his ingredients, he would never articulate what exactly those ingredients were.

“Herren Richter, for reasons of maintaining commercial advantage, please judge my ingredients not on what they are, but how they are.”

Amazingly, the judges agreed.

‘Blutig gut!’ thought Horst, literally.

I need to start looking at the tags because I went to Google to translate it and then I came back to comment and see that you, in your thoroughness, had put the translation in the tag section!

I think it helps me to retain it better when I go search it, though.

This is a really fun series.

Thanks Christopher! I haven’t had so much enthusiasm for a series recently... like many others I guess.

I know I shouldn’t be, but I’m rather pleased with the show’s title, ‘Blitzkochen’.

(Getting a bit concerned about the juxtapositioning of Mrs H with this (maybe soon to be) grisly series. She would be horrified if she realised! I might need to revert to my own logo instead.)
