Enjoyment at the Döppel
It was such a treat. Sky Arts showed an amazing rock concert tonight from the nineties. The giants of rock were on stage, introducing each other in turn. So many of my favourite rockers were there paying tribute to a bloke who himself didn’t seem to have turned up! But hey, the music was great and I was in seventh heaven.
The gang included Tom Petty, Eric Clapton, George Harrison, the Cashes, John Mellencamp, Neil Young, Chrissie Hynde, Stevie Wonder............
Then they came together for the grand finale. But who was that geezer at the back pretending to be me?

In my earlier years the legendary Bob Dylan was my döppelganger. It was remarkable how similar we looked. Mrs H reckons that was why she chatted me up at that memorable party. Still... it seems to have lasted so far. (I wonder if that’s his own hair that he still seems to have so much of? 🤔)
