Blushing Bride

The Groom’s speech ticked all the right boxes, but like so many, probably because of nerves, it was at best adequate. The Best Man’s speech was something else!

He’d planned it for some time, with all the jokes and embarrassing anecdotes from his long association with the Groom. His was the task of toasting the Bride, which he did with gushing charm, enthusiasm and a saucy wink.

If he was gushing, she was blushing... and well she might. The night before she’d found out if he really was the best man!

Best left unanswered, but his speech was certainly best!
