What’s in a name!

She understands so much of what we say already and not a year old yet. She knows what she likes... and what she doesn’t. She likes praise - responding by clapping herself... why not? She likes to dance, but of course expects applause. She recognises the word ‘milk’ - certain to put a smile on her face. She loves nursery rhymes.

But we’re all eagerly awaiting her first proper word. Maybe Dada, or Mama, or Harry, or Baba, or Granny, or Nanny? Everyone hopes it will be them. So competitive!

Personally, I think the first thing she’ll say is ”Alexa!... nursery rhymes!”
