A good friend of mine
Such a high flying man
Told the tales of his travels
Into deep Kazakhstan.

A pilot was he
To the richest of men
In their swish private jets
He was taxiing them.

To a steelworks in Asia
With one man he flew
On a regular basis
Though few people knew.

He told of his travels
So far and so wide
And he talked of his luggage
With loo rolls inside.

He told tales of the Kazakhs
How their loos made him sick
For in place of a bog roll
T’was corn-cob on a stick!

Thanks Drew. My Kazakh in the Khasi profile pic has now appeared and I thought I might provide a Kazakh context for the loo roll to a chum to whom I had sent one of my drabbles.

Please let me know when it pops up Drew, because then I can replace it and not look such a twat for all and sundry to see!
