Crime of the Cemetery
The village Bench Working Party, a group of retirees freely giving their time and skills. These men meet weekly to do some good for the village. And great good they do too.
First they erected benches around the village and at key vantage points too. Now they do anything the village needs that they can achieve. Great camaraderie, great work, great charity. Yes, all for free!
Today they were in the churchyard, straightening and tidying gravestones.
But some snitch reported them to the police, for Covid crimes.
WHAT?
“Did that person think they were grave robbing?” wondered the bewildered Vicar.

Hehe! You’re right Gilbert. The whole village is up in arms. If anyone discovers who the snitch was, then things should get really fun! 😁 Meanwhile, the old boy’s plan to graverob again next Wednesday... if they get parole!
