As identical twins, the girls shared everything; their clothes, their thoughts, their taste in men. But when Julian came into Susan’s life, the sharing must stop... so thought Susan. She jealously guarded him from Sarah, but not well enough.
Sarah ‘carelessly’ allowed herself to be caught ‘in flagrante delicto’ with Julian, by her twin. She rushed to Susan, embracing her, while declaring, “Don’t we share everything sister dear?”
“Of course!... Continue!” replied Susan, taking her leave. “Me next!”
The gory contents of the small gift box Sarah received next day sickened her.
“Snap!” cried Susan, smiling, holding aloft its twin.

Yikes! Excellent. Great wordplay with the title, too.

Thanks, Christopher! I must admit to rapid leg crossing as I re-read it! 😱

Gory poetic justice. Can hear Susan's deceptively soft voice. Poor Julian! 😰

Thanks Drew... it’s an instinctive reaction. As I said above, I can’t re-read it without some level of instant protection.
I almost like writing the titles more than the drabbles, although I need the one for the other.
