Dying’s no fun, and dying in lockdown is certainly no fun. Our fun-loving friend Su was doubly unlucky. Her funeral in the pretty village church followed the Government’s rules. Very few in church + no hymn singing, just a highland piper.

Wanting to say goodbye, we all followed the hearse to the church. The pragmatic vicar declared that the graveyard was a public footpath... so we lurked near the grave.

She opened the rear doors so we could all see within from without.

Su’s last wish was for us all to taste her raspberry vodka.

Now that was fun!

The raspberry vodka was great, as was the crowd enjoying it. So good in fact that my daughter is now making a litre of it and I am making two litres! Yeeha!😋

Loved the ending, but it pisses me off to see people out protesting and rioting and looting and they allow that but they put restrictions on how many people can gather at a funeral? Makes my blood boil. It was worse here in the USA but I did see that going on in the UK as well.
