Au Revoir Graham #2

by

...The four of us depleted
But the remaining three
Have undepleted memories
Of our camaraderie.

He will not be forgotten
That simply cannot be
A man of such uniqueness
His own man constantly.

He always will be with us
If only in our minds
And living on his legacy
The loved ones left behind

His pride will live beyond him
In his much loved family
And I’m sure it will extend as far
As Richard, Philip and me.

So Graham fare you well then
This will not be the end
You’ll never be forgotten
My brother and my friend.

Bob

Very moving, Neville. Man, you've had more than your fair share of heartache lately. It must be doubly hard if you can't even go pay your respects because of what's going on.

Thoughts and prayers to you and your family, my friend.

Thank you Christopher. Much appreciated. Many, many are having a much tougher time than me though right now.

On a lighter note, I noticed last night that BritBox had Porridge, so I watched the first two episodes. Absolutely hilarious!

They also got the new series of Inside No. 9 and I was actually quite disappointed. The only one of the 6 that was up to the previous standard was "Misdirection." There were a couple of episodes that I thought were just terrible.

Re Porridge... excellent... glad you like it after all our hype. The opening credits are the gates of a former prison in St Albans, an historic city near here. It’s now an official office for births, marriages and deaths.

Re Inside No9, it is variable, isn’t it? But some are absolutely brilliant!

Yeah, I'll be watching more Porridge this weekend. I'd never seen Ronnie Barker in anything that I know of and I thought he was really funny.

There were only a couple of episodes of No. 9 in all the previous episodes that I didn't like, but I was very disappointed in the new series. I guess they can't all be winners. I was surprised that they revisited two main characters from Psychoville in one of the new episodes.

So they've officially tied Psychoville and Inside No. 9 together.

Thanks Drew. It was a bummer not being able to attend his final bash.... but the Graham I knew wouldn’t have been there anyway.🥴
