We headed southwest with a vanload of stuff... heavy stuff. My new career as removal man had begun. This morning, two days later, having arrived home late last night, I’ve decided to end that career.

Don’t get me wrong... I had a wonderful sleep, the best for ages. Pleasant dreams.

Then the alarm went off and I woke. I lay still, feeling warm and cosy.

Then the phone rang, downstairs. I leapt out of bed to career down the stairs to answer it. My back and my legs decided that careering was over and out... I would miss that call.

Love the play with words but I do hope your career as a writer is far from over :-D

Thanks Frenchie. No worries, it was just the house-moving career that ended.... and I’m sure even that might resurface when the need arises again in the future!
