Takeoff

We all holidayed in Salcombe. One friend stayed in a house directly across the estuary from the brilliantly situated Marine Hotel and felt it his duty to keep a pair of binoculars handy for the off chance, which was off’n on, that someone in a window across the water might be taking something off, or getting it on. Showoffs or innocents, he might be watching.

Our attic bedroom these days has skylights pointing skywards - only birds can possibly see in... although Mrs H is convinced our friend might sometimes be watching while flying from Luton Airport.
