Little H is almost 4. Time has flown; how his character has developed. He knows what he likes, and dislikes, and let’s you know.
He definitely likes carrots, raw carrots, either as carrot sticks or carrot ‘money’, small carrot discs. There are lots of things he doesn’t like. It’s a game of chance whether he’ll like anything I prepare.
I recently made some ragu, Italian Bolognese sauce for pasta. He likes pasta but looked at the sauce suspiciously.
“It’s full of carrots” I declared truthfully.
“Are you telling porky pies Baba? Peter Rabbit wouldn’t like it, so I don’t too!”

Bless. Hope he gets a taste for greens too. :-)

That may take quite a while if he’s anything like his grandfather! Thanks Jamie.

It seems like yesterday that you started the Small Talk series about Little H.

I wondered whether I should brand this Small Talk... and maybe I should. Small Talk was originally predicated though on the notion that the little fella couldn’t yet actually speak, and now his language skills are very highly developed, because his mum talks to him all the time (when he’s not at school.)
