Lying Little Red Riding Hood in specs #18

by

And the survivors lived happily ever after, although mum was busted for drugs shortly afterwards.

Little Red Riding Hood went on the game, did turns around Kings Cross in London and, of course, got the clap. She generously passed this on to a rich client who occasionally liked to slum it. She photographed him on her phone in a compromising position, blackmailed him and yet still sold her story to The Sun.

She is currently in the Witness Protection Programme and lives, secretly, or so she thinks, in St Lucia. But with a conk like that, who's she fucking kidding?

Thanks very much Drew. I'd hoped you would like it as I had a blast writing it. Mrs H even likes it, although I showed her a non-drabble version without the four-letter words! That was a promising start.

This series actually developed from a now very un-pc joke, but I omitted to describe the salt beef, gefilte fish and lutka which were in the goodie basket in this particular ethnic version of the tale... and I added to it. Thinking about it, old pc or un-pc jokes could probably provide a lot of material...
I wrote it as my writer’s group meeting on Monday required us all (all=4!) to re-tell a well known fairy tale and at lunchtime I had to write it against the clock. The drabblification enabled me to finesse it (hopefully) and slip in the four letter words where ideal for emphasis/humour. It’s been great fun!😁

Wonderful, Neville. Although I'd hate to see the shape of elementary school if you were in charge of all the fairy tales and nursery rhymes!

The only one I remember is this one...

    Mary had a little lamb
Its fleece was black and short
I tried to pet it yesterday
Next week I go to court.

Thanks Christopher... glad you liked it. And thanks for the rhyme... nice one. Here’s another from grubby little schoolboy days.
    Mary had a little lamb
    She also had a bear
I’ve often seen her little lamb
But I’ve never seen her bare.
