Salcombe boasts the world's finest crabs. Last week I bought the fisherman’s smallest crab, but at 4lb, it was enormous. After much excitement, anticipation and considerable effort, I’d removed all the crabmeat and then boiled the shell and the other bits to make crabilicious stock. Crab sandwiches two days running and two litres of hearty crab soup.

I bought another monster home. It was sandwiches and crab soup today for lunch, crab linguine tonight for dinner. And it’s crab cakes and soup tomorrow and the next couple of days.

So I’m feeling incredibly crabby.

And I’m starting to walk sideways.

    No need to worry until you start "pinching" people, especially ladies.

    At what point do you meet crab overload? I once had an encounter with a sausage casserole that lasted most of a week. Orchestrated by my then girlfriend/now wife. It is still... Discussed... 😉
