Me and my wife are complimentary. We get along well. But we’re very different.
She is definitely half-empty. She always sees things from a ‘what could go wrong?’ perspective. Whilst me, I’m half-full, brimming with optimism, self belief and an often unrealistic and overambitious mindset. Her feet are firmly on the ground.
Neither of us would be half as good without the other. But by my reckoning, half empty plus half full equals the full pint. Since I’m the only drinker around here, I guess it’s a case of “Don’t mind if I do”, given half a chance.

I guess that's why opposites attract, as they say. You give the other person what they're lacking. Nice one, Neville.
