Small Talk #104

by

Daddy was still moaning about his stolen iPhone, getting angry with himself, the Knebworth thief, the airline staff, the lost property office, the taxi company. He would have driven to Knebworth to locate the phone, but the iPhone finder had stopped working. It lost track of the other phone mysteriously at Knebworth.

Then he got a call from the airport. Good news and bad news.

The good news was they'd located his phone. The bad news was that it was on its way to Lisbon.

It had a phone holiday...And it didn't even have a passport!

Phone home... Welcome back!

It's all go at your place, isn't it? That's a lot of post-vacation drama! 😁

It was all true. We had to laugh about it afterwards, but at the time it could have brought us back to earth with a bump. All’s well that ends well... and the little fella’s photographs were worth the angst! The reason the iPhone finder app stopped at Knebworth was that planes are steeply climbing over the village and obviously had shot through the final cell of terrestrial phone coverage. Thanks for reading Christopher.

Very amusing - should have called the police who might have trailed it in a fast car at least as far as the English Channel!

By the way I think you should bring your holiday to an end before you go on the next one.

I’d leave the child at home next time and go on an adult holiday- you know what I mean? ( touching side of nose).
