No need to say you love me too
When I say I love you.
It’s said because I think it then
I think, I feel, I do.
I don’t expect an equal claim
When I declare anew
That which I’ve told you time and again
I did, I will, I do.
That you’re inclined to favour me
With words of your love too
Should indicate, if proof I need,
That p’raps your love is true.
But now and then you’ll say it first
It comes out of the blue,
With a touch of spontaneity,
That’s when I know it’s true.

Hardly... but thanks for the compliment Drew.
