It was a special present on her wedding day. It wasn't from a classy jewellers. It was the result of scouring antique shops and markets. It wasn't in a fancy box and the little card inside was handwritten. Hand delivered too by his brother on her wedding day.
A silver pendant on chain of silver rope. The centre was enamel. The colour was green.
Green is a tricky colour. He didn't know the bridesmaids would be in green.
The pride of seeing her wear it only surpassed by her telling me today it was her most sentimental piece of jewellery.

Thanks Drew. It brought a tear to my eye when I'd finished it. (Silly sentimental old fool that I am!)
