The finale of Glastonbury 2016. The Pyramid Stage hosted Coldplay. The massive audience was truly alive. Lead singer Chris Martin introduced a cover tribute of 'Boys That Sing' by Viola Beach, a band so tragically no longer alive. Lovely touch.

Then he introduced the only Bee Gee still alive, Barry Gibb, to singalongaColdplay 'To love somebody', his Bee Gees classic. He stayed on to deliver what Chris billed as 'The greatest song of all time', 'Stayin' Alive'.

Glastonbury owner, organiser and octogenarian Michael Eavis ended the festival 'his way', live.

Rain, mud and live music, that's what keeps Glastonbury alive!

Sounds like a good time, although I've never been a fan of Coldplay.

Neither have I particularly, except for one or two songs but they really fired up the audience at Glastonbury on Sunday. I am now a fan on the short-lived Viola Beach who were tragically killed in a motoring accident in Sweden earlier this year. Thanks for reading and commenting, Christopher.

My pleasure. Sorry about being a bit behind, but I catch up when I can.
