Five flight rock
Nevilles Travails - Paris April 2016
We reached our BnB in Paris not knowing much about it. Met the owner in a bar across the street and followed him to the building. Two beers and old bones hadn't prepared me for the five flights of stairs. Flight one - easy, flight two - 'so-so', flight three - quite challenging, flight four - delayed somewhat as me and the missus took time out. Flight five - was BnB such a good idea? But when we reached the lovely accommodation, we appreciated the 90 'stepcercise'.
We didn't count our holiday in hours or days though, but numbers of stairs left to climb.

Plan carefully before leaving on your excursions, this is not the place to forget to take your reading glasses or camera. The Stairs threaten retribution if you do.

The stairs were not only numerous, but also of highly polished and use-worn wood. Almost 'A over T' a couple of times. Great part of Paris though and not remotely touristy. Thanks for your advice, Sarah. :-)
