Toby

Toby was an identical twin. Toby and Bill were often mistaken for each other around Stratford, their home town. As boys they'd found it fun. Now aged 25, it was no longer fun for Bill, because despite the external likeness, his twin was a scoundrel. Bill, however, remained a model of honesty and decency.

One day, Bill's twin was involved in a pub brawl, killed a man and fled. Bill was arrested shortly afterwards, but denied any guilt.

Concerned, the Sergeant at Arms wondered if he'd arrested the right twin.

"Toby or not Toby, that is the question!" he pondered.
