It was the weekend and uncommonly warm for the first day of April. Saul decided he would go fishing. Maybe not the smartest thing to do so early in the year, because although an experienced fisherman, he was no seafarer.

Spotting the boat about two hundred yards away, he took little notice when he saw it flying the blue, white and red. "Bloody foreigners", he mumbled in his beard, as he heard them screaming. "They're scaring the fish away!"

"M'aidez, m'aidez!" they shouted, in desperation.

"I know what day it is! Do you take me for a Fool?" he responded.

    Ce n'est rein!
I changed blue, white and red to French Tricolour along the way because I thought that, whilst we in the UK would know the significance of the blue, white and red order, as opposed to red, white and blue (our flag), others might not. I preferred it without French Tricolour.
