Working in my study, my eyes often dart through the window and up to the sky watching the relentless stream of aircraft descending from across Europe and beyond, bringing and bringing back their human cargo. Where have they come from, I wonder?

The hardware’s a mix of 737s, A319s and A320s, but I’m not interested in them. I’m waiting for the occasional glimpse of a G5 private jet.

“There’s one!”... Excitedly I wonder who’s aboard, where they’ve been and why! The rich, the famous, the statesmen, the criminals – could be any. I doubt their trip has benefitted mankind though.

Great title! (I have similar thoughts when I see limos.)

Thanks Dr. I think I must have mistaken your G5 for a Wizzair Airbus - you seem to have the same corporate colours.

Thanks D.M. Sometimes I think about all those eco footprints and then, thinking about all the private jets, I reckon they must be more like steel-capped bootprints.
