It was cool getting the FB friends' birthday wishes yesterday, but I wondered why. True, yesterday I had birthday pizza, apple crumble with custard and delicious cake with candles.... but for his, not my birthday. T'was purely coincidental!
I played with Birthday Boy's dinosaurs and, rather than sing Happy Birthday To You, joined in a modern take on birthday wishes composed by one of his teachers. Not as catchy as Mildred and Patty's original, but Warners can't possibly claim any royalties!
When MY birthday eventually arrives I'll compose another royalty-free song just for me. But FB won't know when!

It's amazing, and by amazing I mean irresponsible, how people put their lives and personal info out there digitally in the public forum for everyone and their brother to cross-reference. Great drabble, Neville.

Thanks, Christopher. You're right; it's a field day for identity thieves out there. The birthday tea was good though, even if it wasn't for me! It was pure coincidence that it was on my rogue unbirthday.
