Verismore
Village in Sicily. Soldier returns home to discover true love married to ugly old git for money (gold digger!). He seduces and impregnates other floosy, who adores him. Nonetheless, starts shagging his old flame behind hubby's back. Pregnant floosy tries to get him back, pleading first with him, then his mum (who likes floosy, despite her fallen woman status!)
He's shag-happy so he ignores mum and floosy, who dobs him in to old flame's husband, who's very jealous (you guessed) and a duel is staged. For a former soldier he's an appalling shot... so he is, and dies. Angstiferousness!

Drew, the wronged husband was an unlikely victor, or so it seemed on the night. If you don't learn how to shoot in the army , then where else?... maybe in the gangs on the streets.
