He'd never visited the doctor in his new village until now. The woman doctor he saw about his wrist pain was attractive, if a little stern in manner. However, feeling his wrist with her delicate hands she was most tender. His five minute slot was soon over, but, after an X-ray, he was to return in a week's time.

Next week he was there enjoying the same tender touch; he was in love. He didn't love the arthritis though. Pain relievers were prescribed.

Over the next six months that naughty arthritis somehow crept all over his body. Funny that!

May be, it is the doctor's fault?

Thanks Michelle. Not a true story, but prompted by a recent visit to the doctor. The arthritis is true though, dammit!

Thanks for the advice D.M. That's effectively what the doc said and with the number of staircases in my house it won't be difficult.
