The tiny glider soared in the air, swooping down, to land perfectly on her desk. Unfolding the aircraft she revealed the secret ‘I love you’ message. Not so secret though, as ‘eyes-in-the-back-of-his-head’ teacher saw everything.

Gary took his humiliating punishment like a man. Stinging knuckles, standing on a chair all lesson, letter to his mum, he was nonetheless the class hero.

Alice rewarded this hero for being punished for her, being humiliated for her, for his aerial accuracy but above all, his message.

Gary was rewarded with a kiss, and so much more.
