(Of course it does. You already know that! It’s not the dress’s fault, but there’s a danger it might be mine! You’re only asking for a response to lay blame. If I say simply “No.” you won't be convinced, or “No, not at all”, you’ll question me in greater depth until I crack. If I say “No, not really”, you’ll pounce, like a lioness and it will be ALL MY FAULT. If I say “Yes”, there’ll be tears and withdrawal of any remaining rights I might be granted. So....?)
