He really disliked mirrors. When he looked in the mirror he didn’t like what he saw. Where there had once been a handsome face with inbuilt animation and joie de vivre, he saw a grey, tired image with lines resembling the Paris Metro.

“I hate you mirror!” he spat at the reflective surface in front of him. “Every day, you indulge in mental torture. Every day you show me a little older than the day before. Don’t you realise how you punish me?”

The mirror might have said “If it bothers you, don’t look at me then”...but it didn’t care!

    This happens to me on a daily basis but I never thought to blame the mirror! Another great one, Neville. Keep 'em coming.

    Thanks Drew and Christopher. It was personal. Maybe I should have filed it as true stories told as fiction!
