Consequences

She arrived at the bus stop just as the bus was pulling away. She had a decision to make, a taxi to work or 'throw a sickie’- her boss didn’t tolerate lateness. Being a cheapskate, she chose the latter, deciding on a day off.

She took a bus the other direction to the shopping mall in town instead. Imagine her delight when her favourite film star was signing autographs at the bookstore. Maybe if she angled herself strategically in front of the store she could get a brilliant selfie. Maybe...and maybe she shouldn’t have her boss as a Facebook friend.
