She’d known Mark since Dan started at secondary school. In and out of each others’ houses, Mark, now 16, was very comfortable with Dan’s attractive mum Angela, who yesterday had celebrated her fortieth in style.

With an opened bottle of bubbly left retaining its fizz, Angela offered the boys a glass to ‘celebrate’.

“Yuk!” refused Dan, rushing upstairs to finish a game. Mark though, politely accepted, knocking it back. Two glasses and inhibitions rapidly blown, he suddenly lunged, kissing Angela full on the lips, who instinctively kissed back.

T’was an abrupt, embarrassing end....but the start of a delightful birthday memory.

That could spell trouble for Angela. Good story!

Thanks, Melanie, but maybe the memory will be enough for her!
