The One

I didn’t know him, but my soul I knew he was the one. Time slowed to a near stop. This really was like in the movies. His smile could light up a thousand dark days, and his blue eyes could soothe a thousand sleepless nights. “Hey, I’m Mark.” My God, even his voice is perfect. “Hi, I’m Lucy.” I could feel the spark as our hands touched. And with that, I knew he was my forever.
