I wished upon a star,
as it floated across the heavens,
it plummeted to Earth,
shattering the silence in a sleepy town below.
Lodged into a mountain,
shining brighter than Christmas,
that little star shot down...
down...
down...
Until it reached a graveyard,
marked "NO RETURN".
Sometimes at night,
when I'm all alone,
I wonder if my little star did its job?
My wish was simple,
an end to my suffering,
where from the trees,
to the blue skies,
and even in the echoing walls of underground caves...
Finally, Finally, Jubilation would come!
And Mama, and Papa, came back alive.
