Myrtle had a secret. She knew the truth behind a heinous act. A vicious crime against an innocent teenager who had done nothing to her. But for reasons known only to her, she lied. Her lie was believed and a young man was forcefully dragged from his home, beaten, tortured, and murdered. His broken body was carelessly dumped into a river.
Fifty years later, Myrtle was standing in line at the Pearly Gates waiting her turn. The gatekeeper checked the database then turned to the young man her lie had killed and asked for a thumbs up or thumbs down.

Oooh. Seems like poetic justice to me. Nice one, Michael.

Haha, I like this. Although I’m surprised Myrtle even bothered heading for the Pearlies.

I’m now wondering if that poor young man had been hanging around the gates for 50 years.... possible double-whammy?
