LaQwanda's winged police interceptor streaked skyward effortlessly amidst pillowy clouds piercing through Earth's exosphere into the darkness of space like a sharp needle through a thin fabric in pursuit of her quarry. She was chasing a notorious criminal, wanted in several star systems.
Both ships dipped, twirled, skipped, dove and rose in a deft display of aerial acrobatics belying the tenacious resolve of the two pilots. Her target was good, but LaQwanda was better.
A few death-defying maneuvers later, and grateful for the weightlessness of space, she locked on and fired her disabler. Her quarry was ready for retrieval.
